(A.C.H.E.). CHTS is a Postsecondary Proprietary School of Hypnotherapy in the State of Utah, registered and bonded with the Department of Commerce. ACHE Hypnotherapist Certificates are recognized and accepted throughout the United States, and in more than twenty countries. Hypnotherapy is a non-licensed, certifying profession.

Dennis is also a contract clinical hypnotherapist at Advanced Health Clinic in Farmington, Utah, where he does individual sessions of hypnotherapy and "Mind Management" training of groups, in person at the clinic, and/or online through Skype and other such means. He is the primary instructor and Director of the Certified Hypnotherapy Training School, where he teaches others what he has learned over the past twenty-two years of doing clinical hypnotherapy. The Certified Hypnotherapy Training School is held at the clinic and Dennis broadcasts online nationwide, in live virtual classroom settings from his office and schoolroom at the clinic.

Dennis is a motivational and inspirational public speaker, and sales trainer. He does numerous seminars and workshops on "Mind Management" for a variety of applications. His "Stress Mind Management" programs have been a favorite. These programs are life-changing and really work! He has developed several unique applications of hypnotherapy and proprietary techniques called "Mind Management" and other hypnotherapy protocols, for personal and career development.

Dennis' sixtieth birthday, 2011, was a very reflective day! He wrote a new life mission statement, a part of which he shares here:

"I will accomplish more good in the last twenty years of my life than I have in the previous sixty years combined. I will be an influence for positive change with more people, and assist more people to better their lives and fulfill their desires, dreams, and goals, by teaching and coaching them in self-hypnosis and hypnotherapy, trance utilization skills. I will assist others to overcome self-limiting beliefs, eliminate self-defeating habits, and conquer maladaptive behaviors, and do so myself as well. I will teach these personal problem-solving skills that have changed and improved my life in numerous ways to as many as have interest in and want to learn them."

This is why he and his wife started the Certified Hypnotherapy Training School, where Dennis has the opportunity to achieve such goals. "I enjoy being part of the success of others," he says. "It is rewarding to be a positive influence in the lives of others, and create a ripple effect of good through our students, as they in turn assist their clients in positive personal improvements and goal achievement."

Parker's personal interests are his church activities and responsibilities, golfing, camping, fishing, gardening, yard work, and spending time with his family. Dennis also loves horses and spends as much time as he can spare with his horse Sonny. Dennis and Susie and their now grown children and their children enjoy Sunday dinners together frequently, and other family activities.

The authors have numerous letters of recommendation and reference from their hypnotherapy clients, and their many seminars and workshops. These are posted on Dennis's website to help establish credibility and provide some further background. You can find them at: www.wdennisparker.com

Parker is grateful to be a part of hypnotherapy and to experience the life changing and positive improvement effects that it continues to provide him and his family. He acknowledges a higher source of power giving him in understanding this work. Proverbs 4:26-27 says, "Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand, nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil."

He believes we are to ponder the path of our feet. This is in fact what he proposes we're doing here with hypnotherapy and meditation. From a worldly view we'd call what we are doing hypnosis and hypnotherapy because it is, but from a spiritual viewpoint, when we seek and obtain inspiration from the spirit of the Lord in these processes, trance becomes the state of pondering and meditation spoken of in the Scriptures.

Pondering, meditation, and prayer have greatly blessed his life. He states, "I have come to understand and believe that this is a process the Lord has given us to help us truly know ourselves. By coming to know and fully understand ourselves, we can cleanse and purify ourselves, and clear up problems in our lives. We can become free from the chains of negative thinking and the adversary. "

A worthy goal is to meditate upon our life's experiences-one layer at a time, one experience after another-and learn the lessons to be gained from each of them. We then can apply these new learned truths for us to our future experiences, learning to conduct ourselves in life in a way that will receive our Creator's support and blessings.

As we gain important insights into our life's experiences, we may be inclined to say that certain events, associations, and circumstances that just seem to fit together, teaching us our most valued lessons, were quite the coincidence.
Coincidence may simply be God's way of attempting to stay an anonymous teacher and giver in our lives. I believe there is no coincidence in these defining moments-everything has a learning purpose, everything counts.
We may come to know that we can engage a higher power to assist us in our lives, which gives us hope, simply by asking for the assistance.

Pondering and meditation takes us to a higher state of personal revelation and insight, beyond our normal reasoning capabilities and our creative imaginations. This spiritual state is achieved most often when we ask our Creator for insight, wisdom, understanding, and healing, both physically and spiritually. We naturally experience this state when we hear a wonderful, heart-touching sermon that we just know every word was meant for us, or when reading sacred writings that speak to our heart and soul, and we go into a state of deep reflection. It can happen at the most unexpected times.

You may have such experiences often as you listen to our CD recordings, while intentionally spending time to understand yourself and improve your life. Our continuous improvement is our Creator's great desire for us as well.

A few references about pondering:

"…ponder the path of life." (Proverbs 5:6)

"For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings." (Proverbs 5:21)

"Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts." (Proverbs 21:2)

"If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?" (Proverbs 24:12)

"But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart." (Luke 2:19)
